Photoshop Digital Art: Changing an image into poster art

 

 

If you have every visited Mohonk Mountain House in New Paltz, NY you know what a magical place it is! The natural surroundings are breathtaking and beautiful! We recently hiked for half a day in the frigid cold and I took a series of images I wanted to turn into art.

Here is the finished art poster and the image I took with my Canon Rebel while hiking. I just love how this turned out! I really loved the holiday cards that were on display from the late 1800’s to early 1900’s. They inspired me to create this lovely retro look almost like a Maxfield Parish illustration with the blue shadows.
