I was asked to create a t-shirt design or something this client wanted to use on the truck sides for a carpenter. It had to have an American flag for a veteran, it had to have Steel and Wood. The client gave me really bad clip art of a star made of wood like something you would hang as a craft project. Then the client asked to make it BADASS ! What can I say, two different vibes here. Even though the budget was very small I could not make a design that looked like it came from a craft project.
The font is Desire and it is an amazing logotype font that is very versatile. I tried to make it look like steel and wood and have the reflection of the flag in the steel. the second is more about the flag.
